A teenager accused of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving is due to go on trial at Norwich Crown Court.
Eleanor Jay Coleman, 19, faces one charge in relation to a crash on the A47 at North Burlingham on November 1, 2011, in which a female passenger died.
Coleman is accused of driving a Fiat Punto without due care and attention after the car was involved in a crash with a lorry parked in a lay-by.
She entered no plea at a hearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today.
Coleman, of Manor Farm House, School Road, Runham, Great Yarmouth, is next scheduled to appear before city magistrates on Wednesday, September 5.
The case will be sent to Norwich Crown Court at this hearing.
Coleman was granted unconditional bail.
Police in Norwich have launched an investigation after a woman claimed in a tweet she had knocked a cyclist off their bike.
