Woman suffers “serious” leg burns after Swaffham house fire

A woman has been airlifted to hospital with “serious burns” after a house fire in Swaffham.

Appliances from Massingham, Watton and Dereham were called to the blaze on Spinners Lane at around 1.15pm today.

A spokeswoman from Norfolk police said a woman was rescued from the building and the air ambulance took her to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with “serious burns to her legs”.
