A woman suffered a cut to her head after a car left the road and collided with a tree near Narborough and RAF Marham.

A police spokesman said one car, a silver Volkswagen Polo, was involved in the crash on Chalk Lane, which was reported at 1.35pm.

Fire crews from Swaffham and Massingham used hydraulic rescue equipment to take the roof off the car and free the woman.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the woman, who is in her 30s, did not require hospital treatment.
