Witness appeal for suspicious straw fire in Aylsham

Police are appealing for information about a suspicious straw bale fire near to Aylsham.
Up to 250 straw bales were set alight in a farmer’s field, adjacent to the B1354 and close to Elmerdale Farm, between 9am and noon on Wednesday, October 3. The field is known locally as Deadman’s Field.
Officers from Aylsham Police Station would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the fire or who has any information about the incident.
