A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with a cheek injury after being assaulted in Cromer.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after the attack happened on Prince of Wales Road at about 4.30pm on April 15.

The victim was assaulted by an unknown man, described as approximately 26-years-old, 5ft 6in tall with short black hair and stubble. He was of muscular build and wearing a red jacket.

Witnesses should call PC Nick Robert on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

  • Approximately 26?! is there something this story is not telling us? It's as if the victim knew the age of the assailant.
