Recent figures show that 79pc of people in Norfolk say they are energy efficient but 69pc say they don’t know how to measure their energy efficiency.

Do you try and stay green? If so what do you do?

  • Whatever Joe Public do, they won't win! They'll get turned over by the energy companies or the government. I'not holding my breath on 'fracking' because it will be a done deal - another example - I bet the powers that be are licking their lips in anticipation!!

  • Yeah- bang on about renewables, worry about the heating, buy energy saving bulbs and then have a house crammed with ipads ipods pcs, widescreens, rely on tumble dryers because you are at work when it is fine, change your wardrobe and your car every year and fly off across the world on holiday-that's the sort of green some people would be hard put to understand.

  • You can be as green and save energy as much as you want, but with the energy companies, if they are not making as much profit, then they will just put up prices anyway, as they know OFGEM are useless with no backbone.
