Seventeen householders opened their gardens up to the public in Wicklewood on June 17, which raised just over £2,000.

Half of the funds will go to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices whilst the other £1,000 will go to Wicklewood Parish Council towards the purchase of some swings in the children’s playground at the village hall off High Street.

Carole Sidwell and Penny Lowe, organisers of the event, presented a cheque to Claire Stannard, Norfolk fundraiser for EACH.
