Early morning showers have led to a slight change in the arena events in today’s Cromer Carnival programme, with the cascade kite display being replaced by a falconry display.
But with the weather clearing up and the sun making an appearance, it is business as usual in the Runton Road arena site.
Carnival spokesman Kate Royall said: “It is all going ahead and it is nice and sunny up here.”
The programme began at 10.30am instead of 10am and Cromer Cluster samba band will no longer be performing.
All other acts are to go ahead as planned.
Weatherquest forecaster Chris Bell said there was a chance of showers until about midday but said it should end up being a fairly dry day.
“It will feel a bit more like autumn with temperatures of about 15C (59F) on the beach and 16 or 17C inland.
“Either way it will feel more like late September or October.”
