West Runton Scouts are hoping a summer fair and classic vehicle show will drive forward a £133,000 improvement scheme, and raise the final few thousand pounds needed to add the finishing touches to a new shower and toilet block.
Organised in partnership with North Norfolk Classic Vehicle Club, the annual event, which runs at Beeston Regis Holiday Park on August 27 from midday-4.30pm, usually raises up to £5,000.
Attractions this year will include a classic car parade, a climbing wall, a fairground organ, a barbecue, demonstrations by Bittern DX amateur radio group and Lowestoft Dog Agility Display Team, a raffle and games and craft and cake stalls manned by Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and leaders.
Group Scout Leader Helen Cardani said: 'The fair is a fantastic opportunity for us to reach the final hurdle in our building project and we are really hoping lots of people will come along and support us.'
