Some parts of the county are set to see a lot more snow than others as the Beast from the East rages on.

Forecaster Adam Drury said: “Norfolk is expecting to see a fair amount of snow fall overnight, particularly in north Norfolk, where the snow will continue to fall until the afternoon, giving them between 15 and 20cm on the ground.”

He added: “Everywhere else in the county currently has around two or three cm on the ground. We’re expecting to see around the same amount overnight, meaning by tomorrow afternoon places such as south Norfolk should have around four or five cm in total.”

This will continue until the weekend and early next week, when the risk of snow will be reduced and temperatures will begin to rise once more.
