Heavy rain has caused damage at Norwich Airport with a flight reportedly delayed.
Video footage and photographs show part of the ceiling in the departures lounge had collapsed and flood water in the corridors.
A Twitter user named Tara tweeted: 'You couldn't make it up! Have boarded the plane bound for Menorca from Norwich Airport. Staff tells us the delay is because there is rainwater in the cockpit and because of the electrics it is being checked out.'
The Environment Agency said over an inch of rain had fallen within the past hour at the airport.
An airport spokesman said: 'The airport has experienced a significant amount of rainfall in a short period of time. The terminal building has been water damaged in a number of areas.
'Some offshore helicopter flights were cancelled due to restricted availability of facilities. The airport team have cleared up and isolated affected areas.
'The safety of staff and passengers is the highest priority.
'The airport is operating normally except for limited catering facilities.'
