Some of the heaviest rainfall in weeks has brought down trees and power cables, seen multiple collisions and flooding across the region.
A yellow weather warning from the Met Office for the south-east was in place until 11pm last night and fire crews were called out to multiple reports of flooding at Drayton, North Walsham and Keswick.

And around 6.15pm, crews from Downham Market and King's Lynn were called to Ryston Road in Ryston to extricate a person trapped after a collision.
Crashes were also reported in Sprowston, Walcott, and Bawburgh.
The car park of Tesco in Stalham was underwater, and drains were overflowing on roads across Norwich.
As of 4pm yesterday Tibenham Airfield was the wettest place in the region with 29.6mm of rain falling in less than 24-hours. During the same period Cromer saw 14.4mm of rain with 13.8mm falling in Weybourne.
But since 4am on Tuesday morning Cromer has seen nearly a month's worth of rainfall with 41mm falling on the north Norfolk coast. This led to a number of homes and businesses in the town becoming flooded.
