Work, on the A47 River Tas Bridge, will take place overnight tomorrow (Tuesday), Wednesday and Thursday between 8pm and 6am.

The A47 westbound will be closed at those times from the A146 Trowse Interchange to the A140 Ipswich Road Interchange.

Traffic will be diverted via the A146 towards Norwich and westwards to join the A140 where it will rejoin the A47 at the A140 Ipswich Road Interchange.

There will be a speed restriction of 50mph leading up to the road closure and the A47 westbound lay-by approaching the Trowse Interchange will be closed.

Road users are advised to consider alternative routes.
