A woman was pulled from the River Yare in Great Yarmouth overnight.
Norfolk Police and the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston inshore lifeboat Seahorse IV were called out at 1.10am this morning and a woman was discovered in the water close to Haven Bridge.
Coastguard said the woman was taken to shore by the lifeboat where an ambulance crew was waiting.
The RNLI at Gorleston said they received a call after reports of a woman seen on the bridge, close to the Dukes Head pub. Clothing had been left at the scene.
A station spokesman said: “The woman was picked up by the crew at Bollard Quay.
“She was given oxygen by paramedic Rod Wells then taken to the Gorleston lifeboat shed before being sent to the James Paget University Hospital.
