@shanefisher3

Loving the new away kit!! #Ncfc

@GeorgeThain

That’s a really ugly kit. I love it. #ncfc

@EddyCool87

After having a pop at the home kit I have to say the #ncfc away kit is very nice @NorwichCityFC

@mattworman

Away shirt is nice, but doesn’t scream ‘Norwich City’ to me. Will grow on me I guess #ncfc

  • Better than the 'surrender white' offering, but I hope we don't play like plums as well as look like them.

  • The _AWAY_ kit looks okay, I'm sure it will grow on me but the quality of material that Errea use is poor - I have heard many complaints about the top staining simply from being washed. Maybe one day City can get a proper shirt deal with the likes of Nike or Adidas... Oh and my reference to the AWAY kit, this is what most people call it the same way most people call the Norwich & Peterborough stand the Riverend. That's just the way it is, besides, "change kit" sounds rubbish. All IMO of course.

  • NMTD and The Crab you have hit the nail on the heads its about making money for someone. Well this old supporter will not buy a change shirt, I proudly have my yellow and green shirt hanging in my wardrobe which this crowd of 1 proudly wears whilst watching our team plan (on TV). I remember just after the war when the city were said to be the best dressed team they had yellow and green silk shirts, right half Don Pickwick in particular used to ooze lots of sweat on a warmish day.

  • Exactly my point (5th posting from the bottom) Adelaide. And thank you for referring to the kit by its correct name. You are right, n-m-t-d - cash is involved, as we have been told several times in the past that City are contracted to the sponsors to wear the change strip so many times per season. Plus the profits they make from selling the strip. Neither of these is a footballing reason.

  • Adelaide .......... perhaps there's ca$h involved for us to wear the way kit a certain amount of times during the season ........ didn't both Spain and Netherlands unnecessarily wear away colours against Oz in the WC ? Just sayin'

  • This change strip is so unlike our normal colours so it wont clash when we play Wolves. My point is this, this strip should only be used when we play a team who colours clash, Wolves, Brazil, Socceroos. So it would only be used once in a blue moon. There is nothing worse than switching on my TV to watch my team play against a side who colours do not clash with our normal outfit and they are wearing this other outfit, I often wonder whose playing?. Stick with our distinctive outfit unless absolutely necessary to change.

  • Mellow, I always found ITFC's kits made a ordinary woman look like one of the ugly sisters. Least til they got a decent supplier in Adidas the lucky so and so's! Disclaimer:Their woman are still downright ugly though....except Sky Sports Kate Riley....shes ok as far as ITFC female support goes ;).....even if she did start the whole Wes wants out malarkey with hes tongue twisting tales.

  • A great looking kit! Just one thing though before you all go out and buy it - it won't look half as attractive on a middle aged man with a paunch as it does on Elliot Bennet et al. Football shirts also tend to make wives and girlfriends look a bit rough in my opinion.

  • Don't just lurve Steady On? "Hughton's going nowhere, Hughton is the man to keep us up. Anyone who says Hughton is useless is not a true fan and is talking rubbish.....Oh dear we've been relegated. Think I won't post for a few weeks". Now she's back as ebullient and belligerent as ever, abusing anyone who dares to criticise Norwich City. Success last season was to get 42 points. Success this season probably means 84 points. This means you need to get everything right and so far it looks far from it. How much blame last season was put on losing Hooper at the beginning of the season and therefore not working out the best strike force. This season we have even more changes in personnel and therefore need many meaningful practice games. Failure to prepare means prepare for failure.

  • I like the kit personally but I don't expect everyone to like it, some people like sticking lumps of metal in their face but thats their choice in a democratic country. Reference the tour, was it arranged by Hughton before he left or at the last minute by Adams? Either way people change their minds, disappointing but there you go.

  • Piranha24, from the picture I'm pretty sure that this is a sublimated shirt and will therefore have a slightly different feel to all the shirts that Errea have done for the club so far (cut and stitched). Very impressed by both kits.

  • I see Steady On is back with a vengeance. She did make a good point on another board, and I thought she may have mellowed a little; but here she is, back to her old patronising (should that be matronising?) self. Of course the floor is ours S\O - it always is, always has been! While I agree some of the comments, particularly about the call-offs in Italy have been an overreaction of gigantic proportions, I would defend the right of every one of the posters to make them. Except the trolls (eh diggerman?).

  • Rubbish. Im an honest guy and I hold my hand up if I do wrong, For example When the news first broke that RVW number had changed I 'over reacted' as you put it, in the sense I assumed it was curtains for him at NCFC. Whether you respect him or not, I just felt by doing that and then leaving him out the Dereham friendly it was curtains. I was wrong, and it now appears he has a future (although he has to prove himself to Adams still it appears). In terms of this tour, I dont think im over reacting at all. Cant speak for others comments and ill be honest i've not really read them but I stand by what I said. It 'looks' rather shambolic. Not the best preperation for what is a hugely essential season. Wouldn't call that an over reaction, in fact id call it being just as wound up as Neil Adams appears in his interviews. Better tell him to not over react as well.

  • I wish the press would stop referring to an "Away" kit. There is no such thing. FA rules call for clubs to register a CHANGE strip, to be used when there is a clash of colours with their opponents. When there is a clash, the Away team is expected to use their Change strip. And that is all. Any other colours used by a club are unnecessary, and only exist to make more money from the fans - particularly younger fans. At least NCFC are more circumspect than most in this respect, only changing their colours every couple of years or so. Any bets on how many different strips ManUre will come up with this year?

  • You overreacted with a load of others yesterday and you know it. Freak out at losses, freak out at players leaving but when a friendly gets called off please don't kick the dog across the room. Save the negativity up for later, I know it's hard pre-season to keep it all contained but you and others have "shot your bow too early"... There will be lots of opportunity to overreact once the season starts i'm sure.

  • heaven forbid anyone has a different opinion steady. For what its worth I like the away kit and will likely purchase it once the price drops. I have concerns about it but ill keep them to myself through fear of being ridiculed through this medium of free speech (how backwards!). Wouldnt want you complaing and complainers going over the top by going over the top about there concerns yourself. ;)

  • Its a pity they don't sell the kit sans Aviva logo. I don't like the material Errea have been using for the shirts though, plucks too easily and actually makes me feel hotter and uncomfortable in the summer. Still its nice to see something different in the away kit, guess we'll see it first game of the season?
