A lifeboat from Cromer has this evening been sent to assist a fishing boat which has suffered engine failure.
The Ebonnie, a 15-metre boat with four crew aboard, began experiencing difficulties at 7.30pm when it was around 18 miles north of Cromer.
A lifeboat was sent out to help and at 9pm began towing the boat to Great Yarmouth, where it was due to arrive at about 1.30am on Monday morning.
A spokesman for the coastguard said the operation had been “routine” and there had been no serious cause for concern.
“When the lifeboat from Cromer got to the vessel they found it was suffering engine difficulties,” she said. “The lifeboat is now providing a tow to Great Yarmouth.”
Police in Norwich have launched an investigation after a woman claimed in a tweet she had knocked a cyclist off their bike.
