Children from the Sistema in Norwich charity performed for the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in the royal marquee at the Sandringham Flower Show.
18 children performed a piece called “Rainfall” which garnered rave reviews from watchers.
Amy Nixon, 20, Norwich said: “I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere else before.
“The whole concept is extremely unique, the music is very serene and tranquil.”
There were performers as young as 11 who have been playing music for 11 years.
11-year-old Courtney Lincoln played in the orchestra and said: “It’s crazy how many people have watched us.
“Prince Charles came and spoke to us and told us how good our music sounded and that we should be proud of ourselves.”
George Stronge, 20, added: “I’ve really enjoyed seeing the children step up because this is the first time we have done this in public.”
The garden was designed by John Farley of Dunella and Sue Huckle of Posh Plants.
Mr Farley said: “I watched Sistema play two years ago and they wowed me.
“I then thought it would be great to have the children play in a garden.
“It is a total full sensory experience, you can smell the plants, taste the atmosphere and see and hear the music.”
