The search for the faces of Norwich 2014 began in earnest with a pop up event for Norwich Fashion Week.
Plans are already in full swing for the fifth annual fashion week, which will be held from March 6-13 next year to showcase the city’s design talent.
Organisers held their first pop up event in the Forum today to begin the hunt for the male and female face of Norwich Fashion Week 2014. Sandra Reynolds’ model agency has begun the search and people aged 16 and over can apply up until December 20.
The free event includes a series of live fashion shoots as well as styling and make-up advice from the fashion and beauty team at Jarrold, an exhibition from fashion students at the Norwich University of the Arts, and a street photography exhibition by students at City College Norwich.
Organisers are hoping to grow the fashion week attendance by 20pc next year and have launched a new website.
Kerry Curl, one of the board members of Norwich Fashion Week said: “There is a real diversity in Norwich and there is such a mixture of independent stores, high street and vintage, which not all cities have.”
