The World Village Market returned to Gentleman’s Walk on Friday, with stalls tempting shoppers with jewellery, clothing, crafts and food.

Among the tasty treats were French and Italian cheeses, German bratwurst, British pork, crepes, pork pies, bread, steak baguettes, sweets and Bombay street food.

The World Village Market is open again today, until 5pm and from 10am until 5pm tomorrow, while the fun fair in Chapelfield Gardens will also continue, from midday until 10pm today and tomorrow.

Culture and events manager, Helen Selleck, culture and events manager at Norwich City Council, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer a feast of activities this Easter weekend which all the family can enjoy.

“Both events build upon the great array of businesses and local attractions available in Norwich year-round. I’d encourage everyone to come along.”

Shoppers had an extra treat yesterday, when street dance academy Allstars Dance, showcased their talent in a free performance outside The Forum.
