The five-minute video shows air crews descending from a hovering helicopter, before rushing to treat a casualty injured near a damaged car.

While the injured man is stabilised and loaded into a stretcher, other armed airmen assess the scene and offer cover.

The helicopter returns to collect the man on the stretcher, who is hoisted on board while the aircraft hovers overhead.

The video was shot by Airman 1st Class Gus Cocarelli, of the 48th Fighter Wing, to which the 56th Rescue Squadron is assigned.

The four airmen killed when an HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter crashed near Cley last night were from 56th Rescue Squadron, which is based at RAF Lakenheath.
