A car and a motorbike came off the road and ended up in a field after a collision on the A149 north of Thorpe Market, near Cromer, this morning.
No-one was injured in the accident which happened on a stretch of the road notorious for its bends and which, this morning, was visibly icy.
A police spokesman warned drivers to take care. She said: “On mornings like this, please be vigilant, as there might be ice on the road, and adapt your driving to the conditions.”
A spokesman for Norfolk County Council said the gritters went out at 6pm last night and would have gritted all A-roads. As there was no rain overnight, they had not gone out again this morning.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.

I was on that road at 07:00 this morning and slid off my motorcycle at about 10mph. Between the junction of the A140 turn off and Thorpe Market was solid ice. This section had NOT been gritted!
