Firefighters were called to Northgate Street in the early hours following reports of a vehicle blaze.

An appliance from Great Yarmouth was sent out at 1.23am today, Monday, and found a burning vehicle that had been set alight deliberately.

A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
