Entertainer Ev Boothby will stage another of his variety shows tomorrow in aid of North Walsham tot Ryan Wright who is dying from cancer.
The show will take place in Mundesley’s Coronation Hall at 7pm with tickets costing £5 for adults and £3 for children, and featuring song, dance and comedy. Profits from the show will go towards a lasting tribute to 22-month-old Ryan, whose neuroblastoma cancer has returned unexpectedly.
It was thought treatment had kept the disease at bay for a few years but his parents have been told his life is now nearing its end. Ev and his “West End of Walsham” entertainment troupe, plus guest stars singer Marc James and comedian Pat Nearney, plan a further four shows after tomorrow. A first event in Cromer raised £750 for the cause and the sale of Ryan Wright wristbands has boosted the total to nearly £2,000.
