A man his 20s was left with a head wound after his car overturned.

The accident happened at about 4.10pm on School Road, Brisley, between Fakenham and Dereham, today.

Two fire engines from Fakenham, police officers and ambulance crews were sent to the scene.

The man was trapped in the car and firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release him.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said he was conscious and breathing, and that it had been planned to take him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
