The accident had blocked the road at the South Green Junction and caused traffic congestion back to the A47, but has now fully reopened.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “We arrived on scene at 8.52am and transported a man and a woman both complaining of neck pain to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.”

Police were called at 8.45am after the Renault Laguna and Rover 45 collided.
