POLICE are appealing for information after a house was damaged in a suspected arson attack.
The end of terrace house in Arundel Road, Great Yarmouth - which is unoccupied - was targeted between 12.30am and 1.45am on Sunday.
Rubbish had been piled up at the rear of the property, which had caught light, and police said “material” was also posted through the letter box.
Three fire crews from Great Yarmouth were called to the blaze and used hose reel jets and wore breathing apparatus to tackle the flames, which damaged the front and rear of the property.
Neighbours said firefighters had kicked down the door to put out the flames and one crew had remained at the scene until around 5am.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity, or has any information about the fire, should call Great Yarmouth CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
