The 43-year-old man badly injured in a North Walsham town centre altercation at the weekend was said yesterday to be improving, but still very poorly.
The update on his condition was given to North Walsham Town Council members by PC Charlotte Reed.
The man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious head injuries after the incident in Vicarage Street in the early hours of Saturday, which also left a 44-year-old with an arm injury.
Martin Price, 46, of Aylsham Road, North Walsham, has been charged with causing actual bodily harm to the 44-year-old and will appear before a crown court. A man has been bailed in relation to the injuries suffered by the 43-year-old.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
