The road was closed for about five hours while emergency services attended the scene.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area, with diversions via the B1136.

Police later confirmed that the male rider of a green Kawasaki motorcycle, which had been travelling towards St Olaves, died at the scene.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been revealed at this time.

The other vehicles involved were an orange Vauxhall Corsa and a red Audi A4 estate, which had been travelling in the opposite direction.
