Police launched an appeal on Friday for the woman, who had gone to the aid of a female casualty following a collision on the A12 at Henstead crossroads on Wednesday 26 September, to come forward.

Police received a call yesterday from the owner after a colleague spotted the article in a newspaper and drew her attention to it.

She has now been reunited with her property and police are thanking her for stopping to help and the media for their assistance in getting the items back to her.
