A 10-year-old girl remains in a critical condition after she was hit by a van in Gorleston, police have said.
The girl had been riding a scooter when the collision happened in Crab Lane at around 6.10pm last Friday.
She sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to the James Paget University Hospital (JPH) in Gorleston in a critical condition.
Shortly afterwards she was transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where she remains critical.
Addenbrooke’s specialises in treatment for patients with head injuries.
The driver of the Vauxhall van involved in the collision has been assisting police with their enquiries.
And now officers are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the serious road traffic collision.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident and who has not already come forward.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
