An elderly man has been taken to hospital with severe burns following a gas explosion.
The 90-year-old was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital from Pixey Green, near Eye, at 7.34am today (Wednesday) with sever burns to his lower limbs.
An ambulance service spokesperson said the man was in a serious but stable condition.
He added: “He was airlifted to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and we wish him a full and speedy recovery.”
