Highways officials say a roadworks lorry which broke down on the A47 this morning has been removed.

Motorists had been warned they could encounter delays after one lane was blocked on the A47 westbound between Trowse Newton and the A140 Ipswich Road junction.

Norfolk police were called to assist at 6.30am. They received a message at 7.05am that a recovery vehicle to assist with a wheel change will arrive within an hour.
