The A47 is clear after a crash near the Thickthorn interchange this morning, police have said.
A grey Fiat Punto and a silver Vauxhall Insignia were in collision in the Yarmouth-bound carriageway.
An ambulance service spokesman said there were two female casualties, who were both shaken and had minor injuries.
Police were called at 8.15am today and the fire service and ambulance were also called, with four vehicles involved in the collision but only two identified in the police call log.
The ambulance service was called at 8.19am and an ambulance attended.
A Tweet from the @NorfolkPolice account this morning said “8:40am #A47, half mile before Thickthorn interchange, #Norwich, Yarmouth bound carriageway: 2 vehicle collision-expect delays #norfolkroads”
A later post read “10:00am UPDATE #A47, just prior to the Thickthorn Interchange, is now clear of the earlier collision. #norfolkroads”
