The Queen Elizabeth Way was closed between Knights Hill Roundabout and the Castle Rising turn off, and police diversions were put in place, but the road has since been cleared.

The accident happened just before midday.

A police spokesman said there are two casualties, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
