Firefighters freed one person from the wreckage of a two-car crash during the morning rush hour.
Police asked motorists to avoid the A1078 Low Road in the South Wootton area because of delays caused by a crash between two cars.
The VW Polo and Nissan Qashqai collided just before 8am, near the Knights Hill roundabout, and the road was blocked until about 10am.
The ambulance service was called at 7.53am, and a spokesman said one woman, believed to be in her 40s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in King's Lynn with a back injury.
It is not believed to be life threatening.
Two fire crews from King's Lynn were sent to the scene, as well as two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer.
