A 25-year-old woman has been charged with driving offences after a car ploughed into a garden wall in a Norwich street.

The crash, in Magdalen Road, happened just after 10pm on Saturday night.

A Renault Laguna crashed into the wall of the home, opposite Christ Church.

Three people - two females and a male - were subsequently arrested.

Norfolk police have now charged a 25-year-old woman with various driving offences. The other two people who were arrested have been released without further charge.
Magdalen Road was temporarily shut until 10.30pm while the car was removed from the scene.

Nobody was hurt in the crash.

A neighbour of the house where the wall was knocked down said: “I heard a bang, but I thought it was on the television. The next thing there were police cars here and then a truck came to tow the car away.”
