UPDATE: Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crashing near Holt

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with back pain after crashing between two north Norfolk villages today.
The incident did not involve any other vehicles and happened on the B1156 between Saxlingham and Letheringsett, near Holt, just before 2pm. The road was shut while the motorbike was recovered.
Sgt Gary Hagg, from Norfolk police control room, said the man riding the silver bike was trapped underneath.
He added the rider was taken to hospital with back pain but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Police officers, the East Anglian Air Ambulance, paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service and firefighters from Holt, Sheringham and Fakenham were called.
Captain Neil Waller landed East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Anglia One helicopter in a nearby field just before 2.30pm.
Dr Jenny Townsend and critical care paramedic Gary Steward worked alongside colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service to treat the patient on scene.
The condition of the man, in his 50s,is described as stable.
