A 44-year-old woman has been jailed today after she breached with a criminal anti-Social behaviour order (CRASBO) banning her from street drinking in Lowestoft and Kirkley.

Sarah Bonner, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to six weeks in prison after she was convicted of breaching the order.

She was made the subject of the two-year CRASBO by Lowestoft Magistrates' Court on Wednesday at the request of Lowestoft police.

Bonner was arrested this morning after she was seen on CCTV with an open container of alcohol in London Road North, Lowestoft on Monday.

She was subsequently charged with breaching her CRASBO that bans her from street-drinking within any Designated Public Place and sentenced this morning.

Last Wednesday she was arrested after she was found drunk and disorderly outside the court in breach of her bail conditions.

Prior to this, Bonner was arrested on Saturday, July 19 after police were called to Lowestoft High Street, where she was being drunk and disorderly. She was granted conditional bail not to be drunk and disorderly in a public place.

The CRASBO means that if Bonner is found drinking in a designated public place she could face prosecution.

Within Lowestoft, Kirkley and the harbour ward are both designated public places.
