Two people sustain ‘slight’ injuries after car crashes off A47 at Honingham and into a tree

Motorists are experiencing delays on the A47 at Honingham this evening after a crash involving a vehicle carrying a wheelchair which went off the road and into a tree.

Police received reports of a Nissan NV200 motability vehicle having left the road on the A47 at Honningham, between Wood Lane and Sandy Lane, at about 6.20pm.

A spokesman in the police control room said two occupants, including one who was in a wheelchair, received slight injuries in the crash which is causing delays for other motorists in the area.

Meanwhile police have also attended another minor injury crash involving a single vehicle which has gone into a tree at Beccles Road, Raveningham at about 6.30pm.
