Two men arrested following robbery and attempted robbery in Pakefield, Lowestoft

Two men have been arrested following a robbery and an attempted robbery in Pakefield near Lowestoft.

The incidents happened within a few hours of each last Wednesday, February 26.

A 15-year-old boy sustained a bloody nose during the attempted robbery in a wooded area off Love Lane at about 6.20pm.

A 47-year-old man lost two teeth and sustained substantial swelling to his face during the robbery on a public footpath at Stradbroke Road at about 9.35pm.

Detectives investigating both incidents arrested the two men – a 27-year-old and a 29-year-old both from Lowestoft – yesterday morning.

They were taken into custody and interviewed before being bailed to return to police on Wednesday, April 16 to allow further enquiries to be carried out.
