Two people were taken to hospital this morning after a crash on the A47 at North Tuddenham at around 8.50am.

The crash involving a Mondeo car and a blue and white Suziki motorbike had blocked the road at the Berry’s Lane junction in the Norwich direction between the North Tuddenham Road junction and The Street junction.

The road was cleared at 11.30am.

A man, thought to be the motorcyclist, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in an air ambulance with suspected fractured pelvis injuries.

He was described by police and ambulances crews as “dazed”.

Police said a woman and a child were in the car, and that the woman was taken to hospital in a land ambulance.

An air ambulance, two land ambulances and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene.

Further a long the A47 a van and a motor bike were involved in a crash with a van at Hockering at around the same time.

The motor cyclist had injuries to his leg, hand and wrist but the road was not blocked.

The air ambulance were called but neither drivers needed to go to hospital.
