Two people have been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a home in King’s Lynn.

Three appliances from Kings Lynn were called to a fire in the bedroom of a property on the Fairstead Estate, Gaywood, Lynn at just before 8.40pm tonight.

A spokesman in the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service control room said crews wore breathing apparatus and extinguished using hose reel and main jets.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.

Firefighters were on scene for just over an hour and two people were treated for smoke inhalation.
