Travellers have moved onto land behind a pub and restaurant in Rackheath, near Norwich.
Around ten caravans are parked on a field behind the Castle Carvery Racecourse on Salhouse Road.
Broadland Council confirmed council officers visited the site on Thursday. It is understood the travellers have been there since Wednesday night.

A spokesperson for Broadland District Council said: 'The area in Salhouse is private land and any eviction notice would be issued by the landowner.
'The council has been in touch with the landowner and they have contacted a solicitor.'
It comes after travellers moved eight caravans onto land by the Archant Print building on St Andrews Business Park.
