She has inspired people worldwide by keeping her walk to school litter free defying bullies who teased her for doing it.
And yesterday Norwich girl Nadia Sparkes, 12, otherwise known as Trash Girl, was special guest at the screening of a film featuring a character who was doing a very similar kind-hearted deed.
Mighty Atom Entertainment invited Nadia, alongside her class and family members to a special screening of Litterbugs at the Odeon Cinema in Norwich.
The 2016 short film tells the story of a young girl who is bullied for making mechanical flying 'litterbugs' out of litter.
Nadia has hit the headlines for her community spirited act.
Claire Beswick, who helped to produce the film said: 'We made this film and then it came to our attention that our character was doing something similar to what Nadia was doing in real life.'
The company immediately got in touch with Odeon to organise a screening.
Tony Eves, Odeon deputy manager, described how the film was followed by a Q&A with the director.
He said: 'I think Nadia enjoyed herself, she looked really happy.'
