Four trains between Norwich and Great Yarmouth have been cancelled this morning, following a death on the line on Saturday.

The 6.50am, 7.32am, 8.09am and 8.47am trains were cancelled but services are expected to be back to normal after 9am.

Greater Anglia spokesman Jonathan Denby said: “We apologise to people affected. The reason for the train cancellations was a fatality on the 12.40pm Norwich to Cambridge line on Saturday, at Waterbeach.”

He said the death meant there were fewer trains available today, with those cancelled the least likely to cause major disruption.
