Norfolk’s most famous fictitious DJ returns to our television screens next week in a new series of the Alan Partridge show Mid Morning Matters.

This extended trailer has been released to mark the return of the show on Tuesday, February 16.

The second series follows Partridge as he presents his daily show on the fictional digital radio station North Norfolk Digital.

The first series was originally produced for online but the new six-part series has been made specifically for TV and will be screened on the Sky Atlantic channel.

Steve Coogan, speaking as Partridge, previously said: “I am both thrilled, humbled, gladdened and excited to be bringing Mid Morning Matters back to Sky Atlantic. I expect those who doubted its success feel suitably chastened to never again doubt the wisdom of my career choices and to say nothing in response unless their comments are wholly supportive and positive. I hope I’ve made myself clear...thank you, let’s leave it there.”

  • The only trailer I would like to see him in would be attached to a lorry to take him as far away as possible.

  • He deserves a knighthood for his unstinting work in promoting the best attributes of both the county and people of Norfolk.
