A number of tools have been stolen from a garage in Sutton.

The burglary took place at a property in Old Yarmouth Road sometime between noon on Thursday, February 13, and 9am on Monday, March 31.

An unknown number of people entered the back garden, broke into a garage and stole various tools including a Harley Davidson tool kit, a Halfords bicycle tool kit, an orange Black and Decker drill and charger, a green Bosch drill kit, numerous spanners, screwdrivers and socket sets.

Police officers would like to hear from anyone who may have spotted any suspicious behaviour in the area or have been offered such items for sale in unusual circumstances.

• Witnesses are asked to contact PC Nicola Jefferies at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  • Considering some of the unsavoury characters knocking about in this area, this crime should be more accurately described as Kidnapping.
