Three new shops are opening in empty units in Dereham town centre - and a Spanish tapas bar and restaurant is set to be created in a former pub.

Ponden Home Interiors is moving in to the old Bon Marche shop in Wrights Walk in the Dencora development off the High Street and is due to open on August 2.

Dereham Express Off Licence is going in to an empty unit which used to be a giftware shop on the High Street and a party shop is being opened up in the former Crambles cafe unit, also on the High Street.

Meanwhile, a sign has gone up advertising a tapas bar and restaurant in the old Cockers pub in Norwich Street.
