Three injured in crash which resulted in a car roof catching fire

Three people have been taken to hospital today with injuries following a road crash which resulted in one car’s roof catching fire.

The injuries are not thought to be serious.

The incident happened on the B1155 Docking Road at Stanhoe, near Fakenham, at around 12.30pm and involved two Ford Focuses.

Fire crews from Heacham, Hunstanton and Sandringham attended and assisted police and ambulance paramedics with casualty care and making the vehicles and surrounding area safe.

An ambulance service spokesman said the injuries were not life threatening and were not thought to be serious.
