Three fire crews were called to a fire at a Norwich flat block last night.

Fire engines from Sprowston, Earlham and Carrow were called to Sleaford Green, in the north of the city, at 7.11pm.

Fire crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe by 7.23pm.

An East of England Ambulance Service response car and ambulance were sent to the scene but nobody required treatment and the vehicles left the scene at 7.45pm.
